Back-To-School Night (August)

Back-to-School Night is an evening scheduled to acquaint parents with school, teachers, classrooms, and programs.  Teachers will explain classroom procedures, programs and plans.  Your questions at the presentations are welcomed.

Walk-A-Thon (Friday, September, 27th)

Fall Festival (Wednesday, October 30th )

The festival is a community event coinciding with our annual costume parade.  Money raised at the game booths, food sales, and prize drawing goes directly to the classrooms.  Bring your family and friends!

Scott Lane will celebrate world culture during the ‘Winter Celebrations Around the World’ day performances.

Science Camp

Science camp is a wonderful, unforgettable, learning experience for our fifth graders.

Literacy Day

“We Love Books” Literacy Day will be a celebration of both professionally and student published books.  It will be a fun-filled day!

Science Fair (April)

Come and see what great scientists our students at Scott Lane have come to be! From kindergarten to fifth grade, you will see experiments and presentations that will make you proud to be a Scott Lane parent.

Open House (April 28th)

Open House is a great culminating event.  Students display their work and invite parents to see what they have accomplished at school during the year.  This is an event for the entire family.

International Festival (May)

Staff and students at Scott Lane will prepare an event that honors and celebrates the diverse cultures of the many families at Scott Lane School.  Money raised at the game booths, food sales, and prize drawing goes directly to the classrooms.  We hope that every member of your family will attend!

Field Trips

A wide variety of educational field trips to enhance and expand the curriculum are planned for all grade levels each year.  The number of field trips is dependent on fund raising efforts.

School Pictures

School photos are taken twice a year in Fall and Spring. Students must wear their uniform for Fall pictures. Students have a ‘Free Dress Day’ for Spring pictures.
